Heartland Seniors Finance is proud to have been nominated as a finalist in the Australian Mortgage Awards. Excitingly, for the second year in a row, we have been nominated in both the Non-Bank of the Year and Most Effective Online Presence - Lender categories.

The Australian Mortgage Awards is the leading independent awards event for the Australian mortgage industry, highlighting achievements and recognising excellence across the sector.

Heartland's first nomination is for the Non-Bank of the Year award. At Heartland, we believe our specialist nature enables us to best serve senior Australians, over 16,000 to date with our reverse mortgage, and this is demonstrated by this nomination.

We understand that many retirees find it hard to live comfortably, because “the age pension today covers only a third of what is considered a ‘comfortable lifestyle*’”. At Heartland our award winning product is flexible, designed to protect customers, has a robust fulfilment process and is supported with exceptional service - meeting the individual needs of our customers. Our loan could simply mean the difference between having the heater on or off in winter, or being able to buy your grandchild that fantastic birthday present.

Our nomination in the Most Effective Online Presence - Lender category is very satisfying, as we are finalists alongside some of Australia's largest lenders as ANZ, Bankwest, Suncorp and Westpac. This is a ringing endorsement of our digital strategy, which aims to spread knowledge and awareness of reverse mortgages as a product that can help senior Australians live a more comfortable retirement.

Heartland would like to thank the Australian Mortgage Awards for these nominations and congratulate the other nominees.
